Being a part of the growing 80 million Filipino population can work to our advantage.
Through the College Editor's Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) Alumni E-groups, Ka Gerry share's his letter from a friend name Jimmy who is now based in China.

My dear Gerry!
My 17-year-old daughter Michelle and I just joined a competition, sponsored by China Daily and Lenovo, to select 8 expatriates who will join as torch bearers in the upcoming torch-relay for the Beijing Olympics.
People anywhere can vote on the Net for a maximum of eight contenders until the end of October. You may just vote for us two.
We need a lot of votes to catch up with the early birds. We think we have a good chance to get into the magic eight. But we need friends like you to take a few minutes and click into their website and, if you think we deserve it, vote for BOTH of us. Type in uplifting comments if you wish.
To vote and post comments for us, please click:

We hope you and your network of friends in and outside the US could give us a boost and vote for BOTH of us, a unique father-daughter tandem.
Thanks and best regards,
Jaime FlorCruz
